“ Not to be confused with the other Hot Pot place in the shopping center, Pop Pot has decent food at affordable pricing. Group of 6 went on a Sunday night and it was 3/4 full. Service is friendly, they are pretty good about refilling and putting out the flame when it's clear your pot is hotter than hades. I got the popcorn chicken hot pot- with the popcorn chicken on the side. Would come back on a cold day and if I'm in the area. ”

I did stop coming here for a while and only started frequenting this place again early this year because hubby missed hotpot late at night and only this place was still open. What we usually order here are: - mushroom pot - popcorn chicken pot - taiwanese mala pot - satay beef pot I rate this place better than the other taiwanese more famous/well known hotpot place. ”
“ Individual hot pot spot with private rooms. They do serve a small selection of beer even though it's not listed in the menu (American and Japanese). Came here with my family for dinner on a Sunday evening and there was no wait. My sister got the curry fish ball and I got the Taiwanese spicy pot, and my dad shared with both of us. We also got an order of popcorn chicken. You do need to ask for sauce and there's limited sauces to share among the restaurants. You have the option of vermicelli noodle or rice for your side. The flavors were good although they were a bit stingy with the meat. Credit cards accepted. Free parking lot. Good for kids and big groups. ”
“ This is a Boiling Point type of restaurant where hot pot is individual as opposed to by the table. I tried the Taiwanese spicy pot and brown sugar milk tea with boba, both of which were good. The spicy pot had some beef, instant noodles, beef ball, fish ball, lettuce, etc and the base is slightly spicy as I requested mild. For $20, I did expect a lot more than just a few slices of beef, 1 of each of beef ball and fish ball, and other small quantities of toppings, with lots of lettuce. For the pot, it comes with rice or glass noodle so I opted for glass noodle which was also a tiny amount. Although it looked huge, it was just right in terms of quantity of food. I also sampled the popcorn chicken which was fairly good, just a bit on the saltier side. I did a Yelp check in and because it was dinner, I got the $4.99 milk tea for $1.99 and added boba which was just 50 cents more. The boba is fairly average - it's there for convenience for getting it with the food, but if you want good boba, this is not necessarily the place you would go just for boba. It is a good pairing nonetheless. Overall, I like this a bit better than Boiling Point type of places in terms of quality of individual hot pot, but the price is not as good of a value. ”
“ I got the Taiwanese spicy pot which includes Taiwanese cabbage, kamaboko, crab stick, enoki mushroom, quail egg, meatball, fish ball, tempura, frozen tofu, brown rice cake, pork intestine, clam, fried tofu skin, egg, instant noodle, sliced beef, cilantro, & green onion. Variety looks great but the actual portions are a little disappointing. From maybe half that list, you get ONE little clam, ONE quail egg, one meatball, one crab stick, etc. And I did not find a tempura. Quality of ingredients and flavor of soup was good. No issues with service. ”
“ I came here for dinner at 5 pm and it wasn't busy. It did get busier around 6 pm. There is a good amount of seating inside. The interior was decorated for Halloween so it was cute and festive. Japanese miso pot (4/5): I really enjoy the variety of items in this pot. For seafood, you get shrimps, scallops, fish, mussels, and squid. You also get a quail egg and a raw egg on top. This pot comes with pork instead of beef. They give a good amount of everything. I especially like the udon with it all. It is a very mild tasting broth and I should've added more spice for additional flavor. Overall I like the place. I think it is a little pricey but I don't know how it compares to other hot pot restaurants. But I've been here twice and I haven't had to wait too long for a table which is nice. ”
